Easy Christmas Production! No memorizing lines. Adult or teen narrator guides the audience through the story of Jesus’ birth from Old Testament promises to New Testament fulfillments as kids read 1-5 Bible verses at a time on scrolls. PLUS - instructions for easy 5-Minute DIY Bible Costumes. (For most parts, costumes are optional.)
Christmas Readings gives your children’s ministry a way to tell the greatest story of Jesus’ birth, from the promises in the Old Testament to the fulfillments in the New Testament.
The narrator guides the play as kids read Old Testament promises and New Testament fulfillments. Kids' lines are attached to scrolls. Most kids read one to three Bible verses for their lines. Non-readers can easily be included as angels or sign holders in scene 3.
No memorizing lines! No stage changes during the production.
Costumes, except for angels, are optional. Kids can wear Christmas attire, their usual church clothes, or Bible costumes. For costumes, use your own, or follow the instructions for our easy 5-Minute DIY Bible costumes that don’t require sewing.
Props are minimal. Scrolls with lines. Signs for Jesus’ names from Isaiah 9:6.
