KidsCan- lessons on Childlike Faith and Being Doers of the Word

What is KidsCan?

In our church, KidsCan is a group made up of elementary age students in grade 3rd-6th.  They gather 1 afternoon a week for 6-8 weeks to reflect on scripture and think about how the texts of our faith invite us to bless others in our community.  

What is included in this download?

You are downloading:

- a PDF file of our KidsCan workbook.  We give each kiddo a workbook. We spend about 30-45 minutes on the content of the work book each week.  (2 different PDFs to choose from based on printing preferences)
- a PDF brief leader guide that shares what the highlights and themes of each week are.  

This season of KidsCan we focused on Child Like Faith and Living our Faith.  We had two sessions that met offsite- one at a local retirement center and another at our community park hosting a homeless care bag making event.

*These weeks are offsite.  You will need to determine your location prior to beginning the season.  Week 3 is an off site visit to a local care center (remind on week 2). Week 7 is a Homeless Care Bag making event.  We set it up at a local park, but you could keep it at your church and just invite the larger church community to come.
