A 6-Week Children's Curriculum with Leader's Guide

How many times has a child been asked what they want to be when they grow up — as if making a difference is something that happens later? Kids Can flips that script. Across six weeks, children explore Scripture that points them toward paying attention to the people, needs, and love already around them — and then puts that awareness into action.

From noticing a stranger who might need welcome, to spotting small acts that carry big impact, to recognizing clues of God's love in everyday life, this journal walks kids through six themes: Strangers or Angels?, Small Size Big Impact, Clues of Love, You Are Light, More Than Enough, and Caretakers of the Earth. Each week pairs a Scripture passage with reflective journaling pages and a simple, hands-on activity — from making welcome kits for new neighbors to a community litter clean-up — so the lesson doesn't stay on the page.

The included Leader's Guide gives facilitators everything needed to run each session with confidence: page-by-page talking points, sample discussion answers, timing guides, spiritual themes to emphasize, and practical leader tips for keeping the group engaged and the tone age-appropriate.
