They Were There At Easter is an interactive Easter production designed to help children experience the story of Jesus’ resurrection. Eight adults and older teens play the characters, and the kids walk with the narrator to watch three different scenes of history play out before their eyes.
It was created especially for children (and/or families) to watch and understand the message and emotions of Easter.
The Narrator gently invites young hearts into the Easter story—helping them see how fear turned into faith, and sadness into joy. They Were There At Easter celebrates the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection in a meaningful way for all ages.
Do this production in your children’s ministry area in lieu of the regularly scheduled programming on Easter Sunday, OR - in the main service as part of your Easter morning plan.
Lines are simple and easy!
This production is geared toward a viewing audience of 3rd-6th graders. Other ages could be part of the viewing audience, but younger ones might not enjoy the emotions, excitement, or bewilderment.
This production runs about 30 minutes.
Option: Make this an all-church event! Do the production in the main meeting room, sanctuary, or auditorium.
